Employment Application (PDF) Employment Opportunities The Little School of Hillsborough is a five-star Reggio-Emilia-Inspired preschool and child development center serving infants through kindergarten in Hillsborough, North Carolina. The Little School is a 2005 and 2006 Duke Child Care Partnership Grant recipient demonstrating excellence in child care through innovative, inclusive, child-centered programming. The existing Little School staff is comprised of professional teachers  with diverse backgrounds. They are well-read, well-traveled, professional teachers, artists and athletes who bring their experiences together in a team-teaching environment in order to offer a truly unique educational environment to the children they serve. Currently, the Little School has no employment openings.  The Little School compensation plan includes thirty paid leave days per year (a combination of scheduled and unscheduled leave), a pay scale that ranges from $17,000-$36,000, and professional development opportunities including: conference participation, on-going educational opportunities, WAGES compensation, and in-house team development. The Little School appreciates and honors its teachers as the dedicated, professionals that they are.
