Online Employment Application Employment Opportunities The Little School of Hillsborough is a five-star Reggio-Emilia-Inspired preschool and child development center serving infants through kindergarten in Hillsborough, North Carolina. The Little School is a 2005, 2006, and 2007 Duke Child Care Partnership Grant recipient demonstrating excellence in childcare through innovative, inclusive, child-centered programming. The existing Little School staff is comprised of professional teachers with diverse backgrounds. They are well-read, well-traveled, professional teachers, artists and athletes who bring their experiences together in a team-teaching environment in order to offer a truly unique educational environment to the children they serve. Currently, the Little School has openings at both our Davis Road and new Waterstone Campus locations: Davis Road – Positions are available for Lead and Assistant Teachers in our part-day program. Waterstone – We are accepting applications for Lead Teachers, Co-Teachers and Assistant Teachers for our full-time program. There are full and part-time opportunities available. The Little School compensation plan includes a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental and vision coverage, life and long-term disability insurance, thirty paid leave days per year (a combination of scheduled and unscheduled leave), a pay scale that ranges from $17,000-$36,000, professional development opportunities including: conference participation, on-going educational opportunities, WAGES compensation, and in-house team development.
